It "feels like" it's cold.

Well, I've got some catching up to do! I'll start off with a story about the weather. On my iphone I have the weather channel application. Its great, just one tap and I get oodles of info about the weather in any city of my choice. Not only does this app give you the actual temperature, but also what temperature it "feels like." I want to know who gets the job of a "feels like" specialist. Do they not trust what the actual temperature is? Who are they to decide what it "feels like?" I know that it's not just someone going outside and pulling some number out of thin air, its much more scientific....but still, it doesn't make sense to me. My husband is bigger than me and is always warm, whereas I'm always cold. The temperature is going to "feel" different for both of us, making the "feels like" info a bit unnecessary.



It's like when a week is feeling particularly long and a Tuesday might "feel like" it should bea Friday. It doesn't mean it "feels" that way for everyone, right? So why the need for such information. There isn't. Plain and simple. Why confuse people? Really.
