Morning Wake-Up....Part Dos!!

My Special Mom and Sweet Dad.....

I went home yesterday for my nephew, Matt's first birthday party! Yay!! When I got home my mother made me go get a flu shot with her.....she hates needles and needs someone to hold her hand. We get there and I make sure that we get the nicest, most gentle nurse and my mom got her shot and didn't die. Me on the other hand....I think the nurse used all of her "niceness" on my cute mother and she just jammed the needle into my arm...ouch!! But as long as my mom was okay, I won't complain!!

After the shots we went to my sister's for the party. My dad got there later and drove my car. As he was going west, he couldn't see because of the sun so he put on a pair of my big sunglasses. I wish I was in the car with him.....a 6'4" large man, crammed into my little car with some big crazy shades.....love him!! Oh, and he drove my car to fill it up with gas.....he's so sweet!! He even left me a pack of starbursts too!!

You gotta love the parentals!! I know I sure do!!

Remember how I'm tired?!

So, this morning I was having a tough time waking up and I was freezing!! Naturally, my response was to have a ten minute dance party in my room. Yep, I put on Basshunter and rocked out....first in my pajamas then I got dressed and did it again. Great way to wake up and get warm.....video coming soon!

High? Maybe Just a Bit!!

So yesterday I was in the library studying when I got a migraine. I looked in my laptop case and saw that I had two excedrins, yay! So I took them and then decided to walk home. About 5 minutes after I started walking, I was feeling pretty weird....turns out they weren't excedrins.....they were my prescription migraine meds. Yep, straight caffeine and pain killers!! I usually only take half of one, but I took 2!! So I get home and lay down and try to rest and wait for it to wear off. Nope, four hours later I had an intramural volleyball game and I was still a bit "out there!" The lights in the gym were freakin me out and I sure didn't play very well.....But don't worry, that's not the end of the story. After my game I walked home and was feeling really good and wanted to do something. Everybody was being boring, so I started watching a movie- then I decided to play a prank on 2 boys that live by me! My roommate, Dee, had a nasty toilet seat when we first moved in, so she got a new one. But the old one was just sitting in our hall....naturally I wrote on it and gave it to the boys!! We doorbell ditched them and I got a lil' too excited and started jumpin....I can jump high- higher than I ever thought I could!! Really?!
