GrAdUaTiOn

If you're wondering if I really wore these old 3-d glasses without any lenses the whole day, I did. Yep, I had to make my mark somehow and I told my mom that it was either the glasses or I would change my name on my card to "Robyn Bird Jeppson" .....s
he felt the glasses were more dignified.

I love my sweet parents and all that they've done for me....without them I wouldn't have graduated from college!! It has always been their dream to have all of their children graduate with a Bachelor degree....done! The day before I graduated my brother, Clint, got his Masters from the U of U and about 4 years ago my oldest sister, Sara, received her Masters from there as well. Well done parentals, you've taught us well!! I LOVE YOUS!!

Imma be all Growed UP!!

Yes, it is true. I, Robyn Lynne Jeppson, have graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology and a Minor in Sociology. Wow. Graduation was just fabulous! I started the morning by going up to the quad to wait in the coldness to walk to the ceremony with my fellow grads. While we were waiting, there were tents set up with orange juice, ho-cho, pears, muffins, and other pastries. I decided to grab a pear. As I was eating it I was chatting with my roommate Dee and our friend Ann. It was such a scrumptious pear. After taking a picture and hiding it behind my back I looked at it before I took another bite. What I saw shocked me....it was half of the produce sticker. Yes, I had eaten the other half in my previous bite. Here I am about to graduate from a university and I eat a sticker. Really?!

Owl City Concert = A Crowd Full of 12-17 yr Olds and Their Parentals....

Last night I went to the "Owl City" concert at Saltair. It was way fun, but only because I went with Travis and we made it fun. After running through the rain and wind and then waiting in line at will-call, we finally made it into the concert. As we looked around we noticed a sea of braces, acne, and hyper children. But don't worry because we also saw bored, wrinkled, bugged parentals. Perfect conditions, right?! So we get in the crowd and finally settle into a spot when I looked over and saw the most glorious sight of all....an Asian teenage boy. He was so happy to be there. He had glasses and in true Asian-fashion, a camera to record every song!! When he started singing the words to all the songs, I knew I was in love.
If you're starting to feel bad for Travis because I found my soul-mate, don't. He had two "hip" mothers drooling over him!! Yep, they followed us around THE WHOLE CONCERT!! They were so excited to see the band and be in the teenage scene. It was really hard to navigate through this concert because everyone just stood there and didn't move....at all. Me and Travis (and the moms) were the only ones dancing. We taught "the moms" how to mosh- talk about funny! Then we were joking about having them crowd-surf to the front and they got even more excited. Wow.
All I can say is that I don't think I will be forgetting that experience any time soon!!

The Highway: The New Way to Meet Fellas?

For spring break about a month ago me and my friend Aimee decided to go to Vegas and St. George. As we were driving between Cedar City and St. George, I got bored and started taking random pictures......While taking these, a car of 3 boys drove by.....For some strange reason they like what they saw and started playing "tag" with us by slowing down and speeding up. It was hilarious. I turned to Aimee and jokingly said "Hey, we should write our numbers on a piece of paper and put it in the window!!" Welp, the next thing we know, the boy in the backseat of the other car rolled down his window and stuck out a piece of paper with a number on it! Bahahahahahaha, I just about died! Of course I got my phone out and we started texting them!! So great and so random!! It turns out these guys are mission buddies and were going to Vegas to chill and ride roller-coasters. We even met up with them that night at the NY,NY roller-coaster and hung out with them afterward! They were way fun....and I may or may not be kinda dating one of them now....;)

Happy Easters!!

Wake-UP Call

This morning I was very "out-of-it." I kept hitting the snooze button because I just couldn't motivate myself to get out of bed. Well, my alarm went off, for the 4th time, and I went to shut it off but.....I didn't realize I had turned over, so when I leaned over I smacked my head against the wall....nose first!! I HATE WHEN THAT HAPPENS!! It actually turned out to be just what I needed to wake me up ;) Really.
